Caren Greenstein, M.D.​

Dr Greenstein is nationally renowned for breast imaging, with expertise in Interventional Breast Radiology and Breast MRI. She has been the annual recipient of the Castle Connolly Top Doctor awardPrior to coming to Connecticut Breast Imaging, she was director of Breast Intervention/Breast Imaging Department of White Plains Hospital. She also held the title of Director of Women’s Imaging and Co- Director of Women’s Breast Center at Stamford Hospital/Tully Health Center. Dr Greenstein holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology. In addition, Dr Greenstein serves as a surveyor of US breast centers for the American College of Surgeons and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers as well as an investigator for the National Cancer Institute. Currently, she is an editor of a Spring Nature special collection for scientific artles related to prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
